Capitol Area East End Complex

River City Communications Corporation brings extensive design/build experience to the overall project team. During the 2002-2003 time frame, the company designed and built the telecommunications infrastructure for the Capitol Area East End Complex.

The Capitol Area East End Complex consists of 1.4 Million square feet of office, data center, and public spaces, housed in four buildings, interconnected by underground parking structures. RCCC designed and constructed the infrastructure to support the Data Communications Network, and the Central Antenna Television System.

Design services included stakeholder meetings, system development, and preparation of construction documents. Construction included, installation, quality control, testing, and systems startup.

Over the past ten years, River City Communications Corporation has performed on multiple projects for the California Public Employees’ Retirement System, not only in its headquarters, but in its investment properties as well. Included is the complete renovation of infrastructure and systems in their, six-story, 600,000 square foot, 400 P Street, Sacramento, California facility.

CalPERS Capitol Square Project
Major modifications to their 600,000 square foot, six-story, 400 Q Street facility. Both of these projects included Data Communications Network, Wireless Access, Security, Closed Circuit Television, Central Antenna Television, and data network security. In addition to working in the CalPERS headquarters facility, RCCC designed and built the telecommunications infrastructure for the Capitol Square project. The Capitol Square project consists of 300,000 square foot, high rise building, located in Sacramento California. CalPERS’ disaster recovery center was also outfitted by RCCC. In all cases the work includes system design, implementation, testing and startup.

In addition to these projects, River City Communications Corporation has participated in numerous office projects, throughout the Sacramento area. Most projects incorporate some element of design, implementation, testing, and startup.
