Thunder Valley Casino

Casinos are unique in the world of systems. Their relatively short construction window is what makes them unique. In the case of Thunder Valley Casino (right and below), construction equipment was moved on site on the day following Thanksgiving, and the doors were opened for business on the following April 12th. The pictures clearly support the fact that this is not a concrete tilt-up project, and the actual completion date was near miraculous. River City Communications Corporation installed infrastructure to support closed circuit television, central antenna television, security, and data communications network. The scheduled completion dates were met by closely coordinating the efforts of three shifts, working six days each week, during the course of the project.

The success of this project was measured by each contractor’s ability to keep up with the extremely aggressive construction schedule. Not only did River City keep up with the schedule, its product was functional immediately upon turnover. Getting the casino operating within the six-month window was imperative to its operation and River City Communications Corporation met the challenge and provided its product in a functional state, on time.

Cache Creek Casino
After installing the infrastructure for the Thunder Valley Casino, River City Communications Corporation started work in the Cache Creek Casino expansion. While not as aggressive as the Thunder Valley schedule, Cache Creek included a hotel and spa. River City Communications Corporation installed infrastructure to support closed circuit television, security, central antenna television, dynamic signage, and data communications network. In both cases, Thunder Valley and Cache Creek, River City Communications Corporation conducted testing, startup, and commissioning of the systems it installed. Once again, the work was completed on time and functional.
